Acer showcased the Jade Primo back in September at IFA 2015, but today the company officially introduced its first Windows 10 Mobile flagship and announced when it will be available for purchase.

The Liquid Jade Primo will be showcased at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, and, according to Acer, it will go on sale in EMEA in February for no less than €570 ($620) outright.

Acer's Windows 10 Mobile smartphone will be launched in other regions as well, including the United States, but pricing will be announced in each market closer to availability.

One of the few handsets that comes with Continuum for Phones support, Acer Liquid Jade Primo is a high-end device, but that doesn't justify the high price especially if the company wants to efficiently compete with Microsoft's Lumia 950/950 XL.

A nice-looking Windows 10 smartphone with latest technologies

According to Acer, the Liquid Jade Primo boasts a large 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass screen.

Acer also states that the phone's “rear and front covers feature a fine hairline-brushed finish while a sharp diamond-cut band wraps the chassis and gives the smartphone an even more polished look.”

Hardware-wise, the Liquid Jade Primo comes equipped with 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

Acer confirmed that the smartphone features an advanced cooling system that's supposed to efficiently dissipate the heat from the processor while reducing the overall rear surface temperature.

The phone packs 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It also offers 4G LTE Cat.6 support, among other connectivity options.

At the back, Acer Liquid Jade Primo boasts an impressive 21-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording. There's also a secondary 8-megapixel camera in the front that can capture full HD (1080p) video.

Last but not least, the smartphone comes with USB-Type C port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with AGPS, but there's no mention of battery yet.
