The 3-match puzzle has been around on Android and iOS devices for quite some time now, but developers only launched it on Windows Phone today.
In fact, the game has been released for Windows 10 devices, including handsets that run Windows 10 Mobile preview builds.
PC owners with Windows 10 can head over to Windows Store and install Candy Crush Soda Saga for free, but mobile users will have to wait a little bit longer.
Anyone searching for the game in the Windows Store from their smartphones, regardless of what version of the OS they are running, will notice that Candy Crush Soda Saga is not compatible with their devices.
No word whether or not it will work on Windows Phone 8.1 devices too
There are no details on when exactly this issue will be fixed, or if this is indeed a problem. There's also the possibility that King might not have released the game in Windows Store yet, which is why no one can download it.
Perhaps it's been soft-launched, which means it's only available in some countries for the time being. Anyway, if you're a Candy Crush addict, you can continue to monitor the game's Windows Store page until it becomes available.
According to the developers, Candy Crush Soda Saga comes with hundreds of “Sodalicious” levels and new game modules such as Soda, Green Soda, Frosting and Honey.
New environments, new candies and new combinations have been added too, along with improved graphics. Also, those who opt to connect through Facebook will be able to compare results with their friends.
The game can also be synced between mobile and tablet devices when connected to the internet. It's also free, but comes with in-app purchases which can be disabled.
