The development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision are one day away from the launch of the multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and the two companies are continuing to offer gamers information about the features that gamers will be able to test.

On the official Twitter account of the series, the two companies are delivering a video look at the Weapon Pain Shop feature and encouraging gamers to make use of it during the beta period.

The idea is to offer all players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 as many ways to personalize their presence on the battlefield as possible, making their gun easy to distinguish from those of their friends and enemies.

The beta period for the shooter gives gamers access to three maps, chosen for variety, and to a variety of modes.

The various Specialists can also be tried out, and gamers will also be able to see the new Scorestreaks in action as they test Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

Treyarch is encouraging gamers to offer as much feedback as possible because that, combined with the data gathered from the actual matches, would give the studio the information it needs to improve the shooter before it is launched.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 offers three experiences in one package

The multiplayer is the aspect that Treyarch is interested in testing, mainly because most fans of the series tend to appreciate it more than the single-player.

The studio says that it also has plans to deliver a narrative that introduces the core new mechanics to players and tells a complex story about power and the evolution of technology that's set in 2065.

The development team is also building on its love of the undead with the new Shadows of Evil campaign, which can be played cooperatively and will allow players to take on the role of one of four characters that battle zombies in a unique '40s noir universe.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be out on November 6 and gamers will be able to play it on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and older home consoles.
