One of the topics that would get brought up a lot on the E! docuseries I Am Cait, which aired its first season this year, was whether Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, would be interested in dating a woman or a man now that her transition from male to female was complete.

She always said that, as far as she knew, she was strictly interested in women (as she’d been all her life), but that for the time being, dating was not her priority. She probably had a change of heart, because Radar Online is saying she’s been dabbling in online dating. And she’s looking for male suitors, no less.

Caitlyn is flirting online, only with men

As the aforementioned docuseries aired, there was a lot of talk about how Caitlyn was actually dating her good friend Candis Cayne, also a trans-woman, who was helping her with her transition and with adjusting to her new life.

Jenner repeatedly laughed off the reports, saying that while she did find Candis a very attractive woman, her mind wasn’t on dating as of that moment. The implication was that she was still into women, just like Bruce was.

Radar says that this is not accurate: Caitlyn is looking for male suitors online, insiders reveal for the publication. She’s yet to go on an actual date with any one of the guys she chats with because she’s afraid to make this step, but she’s having a lot of fun flirting with them.

So far, she’s managed to keep her identity secret by sending them photos of herself from the neck down, the report adds.

“She’s really getting a kick out of the anonymity of it all and exploring at even more lengths her feminine side,” says the spy. “She doesn’t have to tell them anything and loves getting emails from strange guys blowing up her inbox with compliments. Eventually, she wants to use a photo of herself with a blonde wig, just to gauge reaction.”

Admittedly, Jenner is very eager to get back into the dating game and to go on actual dates, but she wants to wait until her hormone therapy is completed so she is prepared for such an emotional step.

Jenner’s transition, a media circus

When Bruce Jenner told Diane Sawyer in April this year, “I am, for all intents and purposes, a woman,” and later unveiled Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair, the world was quick to welcome her with open arms and even proclaim her a modern-day (LGBT) hero.

However, with the docuseries, it became clear that Jenner was, just like the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, the kind that would commoditize every aspect of her life, just to keep the ball rolling.

The Jenner transition turned into a media circus like skeptics predicted it would, and it will probably continue to be so if a second season is made - especially if it will feature a storyline on dating.
