The one who knocks is totally down with the kids

Bryan Cranston may be pushing 60, but he’s totally down with the kids, as he proved over the weekend with a surprise (and very awesome) appearance at the Electric Daisy Carnival, the 2015 edition, held in Las Vegas.

The actor, adored by many for his flawless performance as Walter White / Heisenberg on AMC’s now-defunct “Breaking Bad” series, popped up on stage during the Above & Beyond gig. As you can see in the video below, he introduced himself and then pushed the button.

Walter White isn’t just the one who knocks, clearly.

The “say my name!” line is perhaps one of the most memorable in the series, which tells the story of a chemistry teacher diagnosed with terminal cancer, who “breaks bad” and starts cooking and selling meth.

As the series progresses, he becomes Heisenberg, a ruthless criminal who takes pride in cooking the purest meth on the market and who would stop at nothing to make money off it. By the time the line is uttered, Walter White is only a distant memory.

You can see that scene in the second video embedded below.

Based on Cranston’s tweet after the party, which he turned into an all-nighter, he had a blast. Who wouldn’t have?
