Borderlands fans have been buried in a never-ending sheer of new content since the launch of Borderlands 3. The fine folks at Gearbox are pumping out new campaigns for Borderlands 3 like there's no tomorrow, and while not all of them are free, if you've bought the Season Pass, you should be covered.

The game's fourth add-on has just been announced and will drop on PC and consoles on September 10. It's grandiosely called Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck and it's available for free to all Season Pass owners.

If you're not yet a Season Pass holder, don't worry about level caps since September 10 also marks the arrival of the next level cap increase, which will be free to all Borderlands 3 players. The cap will increase by five levels, making 65 the newest highest level for gear and player characters. Not only is this the largest single-level cap increase since launch, but it’s also the last planned level cap increase.

The campaign lets players journey through the many demented vistas of Krieg's psyche, where anything is possible and likely very violent. Moreover, players will experience the world as Krieg sees it, including his perception of fan-favorite characters like Maya, his true love.

As expected, the campaign brings lots of surreal side missions and Crew Challenges, as well as new, powerful Legendary weapons and gear that will still work outside of Krieg's consciousness. New cosmetic items, including Vault Hunter heads and skins, can be acquired too.

On a side note, the ongoing Borderlands 3 Anniversary Celebration continues through September 10 and a new mini-event will be activated each week to celebrate one full year of total mayhem.

Also, Mayhem Made Wild offers all Easy modifiers in Mayhem Mode and will run from August 27 through September 3. Then from September 3 through 10, enemies will drop more in-game cash during the final mini-event: Making It Rain.
