BLU Win HD LTE is one of the many affordable Windows Phones launched by the US-based company BLU Productions. The smartphone made its debut on the market back in September 2014, so it's more than one year old.

However, the good news is the smartphone will be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile when the new version of the operating system gets released later this year.

BLU has already confirmed the information but has stated that it will provide an ETA for the availability of the Windows 10 upgrade at a later date.

Those who wish to try out Microsoft's Windows Phone ecosystem can now grab the BLU Win HD LTE at a promotional price of just £50 ($75 / €70) outright.

Customers can grab the BLU Win HD LTE in either of the four color options (Black, Orange, Yellow and White) via Amazon UK. Keep in mind that the promotional offer is only available today (November 23), but it might come back in the next couple of weeks.

A good deal for Windows Phone newcomers

BLU Win HD LTE ships with Windows Phone 8.1 and pretty decent hardware specs for the price you pay (especially that it's now on sale).

For example, the smartphone comes equipped with a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit, and 1GB of RAM.

The entry-level handset packs only 8GB of internal memory, but users can expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Furthermore, BLU Win HD LTE sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

It also comes with an 8-megapixel main photo shooter with autofocus, LED flash, and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

As the name suggests, the smartphone offers 4G LTE support but also includes dual-SIM feature with dual standby, among other connectivity options.
