14 DAY TRIAL // US-based company BLU Products has just announced yet another two affordable smartphones powered by Android operating system.
The new BLU Energy X and Studio Energy 2 smartphones are now available for purchase via Amazon for only $110 and $180, respectively.
As their names suggest, these devices are all about the battery. BLU Studio Energy 2 packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery, though it's only 10mm thin.
The smartphone is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, which is why BLU put the Studio Energy 2 in the premium category.
Launched as a successor to BLU Studio Energy, the smartphone is equipped with a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
Also, the Studio Energy 2 sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating for extra protection.
On the back, BLU's affordable smartphone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, Led flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies.
Dual-SIM and 4G LTE support included
BLU Studio Energy 2 offers both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support, and is available in two color versions: Midnight Grey and Ceramic White with Rose Gold.
The cheaper of the two, BLU Energy X comes with a 4,000 mAh battery inside, but the phone remains thin enough at 8mm. It's available in Midnight Grey and Gold finish.
The smartphone sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
The Energy X packs a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage expandable up to 128GB.
Also, it features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as 2-megapixel camera in the front.
BLU Energy X supports 4G LTE and dual-SIM, but also other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS.
It's also worth mentioning that both BLU smartphones come preloaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.
