This year’s Blizzcon tickers are going to offer attendees the opportunity to play, for the first time, the World of Warcraft Classic demo.

Blizzcon is a massive event that takes place each year where Blizzard presents new stuff they’ve been working on and upgrades for the products they already have out. It’s a massively popular gathering, and the entry is not free.

Blizzard knows that people might want or need an extra incentive, so they usually include some goodies in the price of the virtual ticket. It’s not big stuff, but this year is going to be different because attendees will be the first one to play the demo for a new project.

Old and new

We’re calling World of Warcraft Classic a new project, but to be fair, it’s actually something built for people that want to relieve the good old days. And to make some money, of course.

“Every BlizzCon, we look for opportunities to bring new aspects of the experience to our community around the world. This year, we’re excited to announce that for the first time, BlizzCon Virtual Ticket holders will join BlizzCon attendees as the first people to play the World of Warcraft Classic demo we’re creating for BlizzCon at home,” wrote Blizzard on the official website.

After the opening ceremony, on November 2nd, players at home will be able to download the demo and play at the same time with the people on the stage.

Not much is known about the content provided, with the exception that players will have access to two classic zone, one Alliance and one Horde.

Besides the demo, the people at the event and the virtual ticket holders will also receive a few banners, War Mantle of the Alliance & War Mantle of the Horde and Stormwind Champion’s War Banner & Orgrimmar Hero’s War Banner.

As usually, some in-game goodies for other Blizzard titles, such as Overwatch, Diablo III, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and StarCraft II will arrive as well.
