14 DAY TRIAL // Blizzard recently opened its official European Gear Store so that fans can get their hands on Blizzard collectibles, apparel, and more, with lower shipping costs, and, of course, faster delivery. One other major advantage for European customers is that they will no longer have to pay import duties when shopping for their favorite Blizzard plush, statue or t-shirt.
All items available on the Gear Store's website will be shipped from the company's new European warehouse to all 28 EU member states with all the benefits mentioned earlier. More importantly, you won't need a Blizzard account to purchase items from the European Gear Store, as you can shop as a guest.
However, Blizzard encourages shoppers to create an account on the Gear Store since they will received all sorts of benefits, such as being able to access order history or track orders, as well as save their shipping address.
The shop contains all sorts of goodies from Funko Pop figures and massive statues to clothes (t-shirts, hoodies, hats), plush toys and cosplay costumes. The Gear Store focuses on merchandise for six major Blizzard titles: Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm.
There's also a seventh category that contains Blizzard-branded goodies, such as lanyards, badges boosters, collectible pins, hats, t-shirts, posters, and even a 25 year anniversary backpack.
One other thing worth mentioning is that prices from the EU and US Gear Stores are very different due to the applicable VAT, so expect higher prices in Europe. Although Blizzard says the European Gear Store offers two different shipping methods – Postal Priority (no tracking number) or Courier (with tracking), only the latter is available in some countries.
Of course, customers outside the EU can purchase items from Blizzard's European Gear Store, but they will have to pay taxes and import duties for everything they buy.
Finally, if you want to return any of the items that you've bought, you can withdraw your purchase request within 14 days of receipt of your order, but only if you're an EU resident. Also, you can cancel any order placed as long as it hasn't been shipped.
