Hearthstone addicts, rejoice! Blizzard announced over the weekend that a new solo adventure would be available in the next couple of days.

The new adventure is called The League of Explorers and contains a series of single-player missions, which is meant to introduce players to heroic new characters and amazing villains, dangerous temples, and deadly traps.

Each of the new villains will require innovative decks and strategies to beat them. Just like in the previous solo adventures, players who prevail over these bosses will be rewarded with new cards to add to their collections.

There are four adventurers in The League of Explorers: Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Brann Bronzebeard. Each of them with their skills and abilities, but with a common objective: to recover an ancient artifact.

World of Warcraft players will recognize some of the dungeons that are present in the MMORPG appear in The League of Explorers, too.

Expect to face the new bosses in Uldaman, but also in other locations such as The Ruined City, Temple of Orsis, and the Hall of Explorers.

No less than 45 new cards will be added to the game when The League of Explorers launches later this week, unlockable over the course of the next five weeks.

Class challenges and Heroic mode available too

Along with the new solo adventure and new cards, Blizzard also introduces a new mechanic called Discover. When you play a card with the new keyword, you will be presented with three random cards to choose from that are not in your deck, but can be used by your class.

The first wing of The League of Explorers adventure will launch on November 12 while the other three locations will open on a weekly basis over the course of a month, and a one-week break in the middle for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The League of Explorers solo adventure costs $19.99. However, each location can be bought separately for 700 gold or $6.99, and discount-bundles will be available as well based on the number of individual locations the player has already purchased.
