After making its debut on PC last year, the fine folks at Bloober Team announced they are bringing Blair Witch to Nintendo Switch. The studio behind Layers of Fear and Observer revealed that their upcoming horror game, Blair Witch will be launched on Nintendo Switch on June 25.

Currently, Blair Witch is available for free on Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass, but Nintendo Switch players will have to pay $30 / €30 if they want to play it. Blair Witch offers around 4-5 hours of horror adventure, so it's up to each and everyone to decide whether or not it's worth the price.

The game follows the original story inspired by Lionsgate’s iconic Blair Witch film, which is set in 1996. Blair Witch starts the moment a young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland, and plays as a first-person, story-driven psychological horror game.

You'll be playing as Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, accompanied by his trustful canine companion, Bullet, who must investigate the disappearance of the young boy. Although the story starts as they join the search for the missing boy, players will soon discover the horrors that await as the woods twist and turn into an endless nightmare.

It's important to mention that Blair Witch will support key features of the Nintendo Switch such as HD Rumble, TV Mode, Tabletop Mode, Handheld Mode, and touchscreen support in the game menu.

On top of that, Blair Witch will include the “Good Boy Pack” update at launch, which offers players the ability to personalize their canine companion’s fur attributes, eye color, and collar, along with additional Bullet animations. Furthermore, the bundle will contain the “Super Rex” mini-game which Bullet fans cannot resist.

If you can play this on PC, we strongly recommend picking up an Xbox Game Pass subscription for just $1 per month and get Blair Witch, as well as hundreds of other games, for free.
