14 DAY TRIAL // A very old but still very popular urban legend / conspiracy theory claims that both Beyonce and husband Jay Z are lying about their real age, claiming to be a few years younger than they actually are. For the record, Queen Bey is said to be 34 years old, having been born on September 4, 1981.
According to said conspiracy theory, she’s at least 2 or 3 years older but she lied about it so she could be more marketable. She obviously can’t go back and tell the truth, or she would do more damage.
Here’s Matthew Knowles, her father, adding even more fuel to the fire by saying that Beyonce is Pink and Usher’s age. Pink is 36 and Usher is 37, which would mean that Beyonce is older than she says she is by 3 years.
If you check out the video below, it does seem as if Mr. Knowles is unwillingly exposing his daughter’s lie, but before you rush to this conclusion, consider this: number one (and the most important thing), Knowles is estranged from his daughter as of 2011, when she cut him off.
He’s been talking about her a lot in recent months and many of the things he said turned out to be shamelessly false, like how Destiny’s Child was getting back together for a new album and a new tour.
Secondly, he could be saying these things without even knowing Pink and Usher’s real age and just assuming that they’re the same age as Beyonce.
