14 DAY TRIAL // Halloween is nothing if it’s not celebrated at least a week in advance, so last weekend, many celebrities hit the party circuit in their best Halloween garb. Despite their honest efforts to make an impression with their choice of costume, they failed to make as strong an impression as Beyonce did.
First off, that’s because there can be only one Beyonce, and obviously, they are not her. Queen Bey stepped out to party with Ciara on her 30th birthday, at the themed party held on the Warner Bros. lot.
Ciara and NFL star boyfriend Russell Wilson came dressed as Catwoman and Batman, and they even drove there in a replica of the famous Batmobile.
However, the moment photos of Beyonce in her costume hit the net, fans on social media rushed to dub her the absolute winner of Halloween. Yes, some fans still like to see events like this one as a competition and Beyonce is always proclaimed “winner” no matter what.
This time, though, they probably have a point: Bey was dressed as Storm from X-Men, and everything from her white wig to the elaborate costume, the pale blue contacts and especially the attitude showed that she took her costume very seriously.
If you’re going to go to a costume party, throwing on a skimpy outfit and calling it a day will simply not cut it. Like everything else in life, a good costume needs proper consideration, work and the willingness to take the task seriously. In this sense, Beyonce delivered.
As a side note, no word if Jay Z came with her at the party or, if he did, if he was dressed as an X-Men Mutant too.
