A new low-budget Samsung smartphone is about to make its debut on the market, the Galaxy J3 (2017). The device has been spotted a few times in the last couple of weeks at various benchmarks and we even have a press render of the phone.

While Samsung hasn't yet confirmed the smartphone and we don't have any information regarding its launch, there's a high chance the Galaxy J3 (2017) will be announced in early December.

Based on the phone's date shown on the home screen, we believe the phone might be unveiled on December 1, but this is just an assumption so take it or leave it.

Concerning the Galaxy J3 (2017)'s specs, the phone has just made another round at one of the popular benchmarks that smartphone owners use to test their devices.

Known as Samsung SM-J327, the smartphone is now listed at GFXBench with a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with an Adreno 308 graphics processing unit, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory.

We can safely assume the smartphone will come with microSD card slot for memory expansion as well. The back side features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with full HD (1080p) video recording and LED flash, while in the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel selfie camera.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) sports a 5-inch display that supports HD (720p) resolution, but there's no mention of battery. However, we do know that the smartphone will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out of the box.

On a side note, Samsung is rumored to launch another Galaxy J3 (2017) Pro version along with the standard model, but it's unclear if they will be announced at the same time and where exactly they will be available for purchase. Obviously, there will be some differences between their specs too, so stay tuned.
