14 DAY TRIAL // Ben Affleck keeps denying any kind of romantic affair with his children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, but she seems determined to make him look bad by proving the contrary. Ouzounian, the 28-year-old woman believed to have caused the split between Affleck and wife of 10 years Jennifer Garner, is now driving a brand new Lexus convertible.

Affleck is throwing money at Ouzounian to keep her quiet
The Instagram photo she posted makes it clear that the car is new, because she captioned it with “Keep calm and meet my new drop top Lexi.”
Us Weekly reports that the Lexus IS Convertible has a starting price of $43,000 (€38,743), which is quite steep for a nanny, even if she happened to work for a few months for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. If we also factor in the report that her recent stay at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles set her back at least $12,000 (€10,810), we could assume that she’s not paying for all this stuff herself.
In other words, Ben Affleck is throwing serious money at her to get her to shut up.
It’s been a few weeks now that she’s been leaking stories to the tabloids about her affair with him, first as a means to get him to come back to her and now probably because she understood he won’t return to her and she’ll be left stranded.
Affleck and Garner announced their decision to separate at the beginning of July, but he was still in contact with Ouzounian later that month, even though she had been fired as nanny.
Affleck cheated on his wife with the nanny even during their trial separation, on a trip to the Bahamas that was meant as a last effort to work out their differences. When Garner found out, she pulled the plug on the marriage and he sidelined the mistress, telling her they needed to keep a low profile.
When he didn’t get back to her after some time, Ouzounian went to the press with the story.
Ouzounian is now a bona fide celebrity
Another thing stands out about Ouzounian’s most recent outing, in addition to the fact that she’s driving a brand new car she probably can’t afford: she gets a police escort.
This is how you know you’ve made in showbiz when you have no discernible talent: you need a police escort because the paparazzi are all over you. It doesn’t even matter if you called them yourself.
Notice too how Ouzounian presents herself. She’s not displeased to see the paps outside her home and she’s adopted the celebrity “style” for running errands, coffee in hand, handbag on her arm, sunglasses on her nose, a planned outfit and a brand new blowout.
Rumor has it she’s been threatening Affleck she’ll do TV interviews if he doesn’t come back to her. Our money’s on sooner than later on this one.
