One of the most popular instant messaging apps, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) continues to receive updates that add new features and improvements.

Since BlackBerry is looking for new ways to monetize its messaging service, some of these update will be mostly about that. With the help of stickers and other nifty features that require monthly payments, BlackBerry hopes to make BBM even more valuable.

The latest update released for BBM has just happened on BlackBerry platform, but only the beta version of the application has been upgraded.

According to CrackBerry, the changelog contains few new features, which mostly refer to how BlackBerry is monetizing BBM.

So, if you have BBM beta on your BlackBerry smartphone, then you might want to take a look at what the new update brings into the mix.

First of all, the update introduces BBM Sticker Club. If you are one of the many BBM users that liked stickers before, then you should be thrilled about them now since you will now be able to get more than 100 exclusive stickers and many new ones each month before anyone else.

PayPal support is being tested in some regions

Also, developers confirmed that they have improved Group Updates in Feeds, which means that Group pictures can now be viewed in Feeds and you can also perform actions directly from the Feeds screen.

Last but not least, as many BBM users have expected, the latest update for BBM beta brings PayPal support. This feature is now in testing in Canada, United States, as well as parts of Europe and Africa.

If you notice any other new features or improvements after updating BBM beta, let us know in the comments section.

Keep in mind that while the update is now live in BlackBerry Beta Zone, you will need a valid account in order to be able to download the latest version of BBM Beta for BlackBerry.
