14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts are ready to confirm that they are planning to launch the new Robbery downloadable content for Battlefield Hardline in September of this year for those who have a Premium account and two weeks later for the rest of the community.
The two companies state, "The theme of this pack is the Big Score: how to steal it, or how to stop it. The new maps and game mode in Battlefield Hardline: Robbery are designed to let criminal teams plan and execute the perfect heist; or, for law enforcement, to get the crooks in cuffs before they can pull it off."
The four new included maps are The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, and Precinct 7.
Gamers who get Robbery for Battlefield Hardline can also use four new weapons and two new gadgets, and each faction receives two vehicles to improve their performance on the battlefield.
The DLC adds a Legendary super feature and more camos and vehicle paints.
The newly introduced mode is called Squad Heist, a five versus five experience with three distinct phases that involve breaking into vaults for the criminals and running away from the police before spending the 25 deploy tickets that they get.
Museum is the first map for Battlefield Hardline that's entirely indoors
Visceral Games has decided to take the action of the shooter inside and allows players to explore the Turing Natural History Museum, which is entirely devoid of guards.
The map includes a collection of Egyptian art, a planetarium with a model of the solar system, and a range of dinosaur skeletons, all of which can be destroyed.
The developers are also suggesting that the layout will encourage fast infantry engagements in which shotguns and riot shields might be the best-suited gear.
The Museum map for Robbery for Battlefield Hardline is designed to showcase the new Squad Heist mode, with a layout that encourages players to experiment.
It is apparently also well suited for classic Heist and Rescue.
Before the Robbery DLC for Battlefield Hardline arrives, gamers will also get more information about the other three included maps, each of which has a distinct personality.
