The development team at Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts are delivering more information on the kind of content that gamers will be able to get in the coming Robbery downloadable content pack that will be offered for Battlefield Hardline in early September.

The two companies are aiming to deliver a wide range of new weapons and gadgets in order to make sure that gamers have more options regardless of the tactical situation they are facing.

The official site explains that "The weapons and gadgets included are great for all of the maps and modes you’re used to, but even better for the new Squad Heist game mode. There are also some new tools for the Operator class, making it easier to support your team with heals and suppression."

A CS gas launcher is being added to Battlefield Hardline in order to allow both cops and criminals to deliver a suppressive effect at longer range to all enemies who are not in a vehicle and are not using a special mask.

The Operator is now also able to heal all the passengers who are now with him in a vehicle, which makes him more effective in modes that use cars a lot, like Hotwire.

The new weapons that gamers will be able to use in Robbery for Battlefield Hardline are an assault rifle for the criminal version of the class, designed to be used at medium range and combines damage and accuracy, and the MDC for the cops, with more stopping power and a little more recoil.

The criminals also have more firepower with a new assault rifle.

Throwing knives are also coming to Battlefield Hardline

Gamers will be able to use the grenade slot on their characters in order to get these new projectiles, which have the advantage of being quick and quiet when it comes to taking out enemies.

Throwing knives for Battlefield Hardline are a one-hit kill regardless of where they touch a character, which offers more options to gamers who want stealth action.

When it comes to vehicles, Robbery is introducing a pick-up truck for both factions, which gives them more options for off-road action and can carry more gamers.

A scout helicopter is also being added to the shooter, with no weapons of its own but with options for players to fire while they quickly move across the map.

Robbery will first be offered to those who have a Premium account for Battlefield Hardline, and two weeks later the entire community will get the DLC.
