Numerous balancing changes are also implemented

The third DLC for Battlefield 1 called Turning Tides has gone live on all available platforms, PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Electronic Arts continues to push DLCs for Battlefield 1, which is arguably one of the best in the series, not to mention that it’s the first one that didn’t follow an already established recipe. That is if we ignore that it’s a massively multiplayer game with the name Battlefield.

Even if Battlefield 1 was launched all the way back in 2016, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have a massive following. There are still a lot of people playing it, which only means that it’s been a success for EA, and no one is disputing that. One of the reasons for the success was the influx of DLCs, but we have to say that two in one year seems a low number.

Taking the fight to the sea

The most significant addition to Battlefield 1 is the North Sea, which is comprised of two maps. The most interesting of the two has to be Heligoland Bight, which brings the first ever Dreadnought vs. Dreadnought battle.

The second map is called Zeebrugge, and it set up in a Belgian port where the Allied forces are trying to conquer the German positions.

Furthermore, Turning Tides comes with a brand new and extremely powerful C-Class airship, not to mention new uniforms for the Royal Marines.

Of course, another billion or so small changes have been implemented as well, including balancing updates, modifications to weapons stats, some UI & HUD improvements, fixes for the existing maps, and much, much more.

If you have Battlefield 1 Revolution or the Premium Pass, you will get access to the new content without having to pay anything extra. What’s even more interesting is that another DLC will land in February, called Apocalypse and it will bring an aerial battle map, among many other features.
