Some minor issues have been fixed as well

Rocksteady has released yet another patch for Batman: Arkham Knight and it looks like developers are preparing for a new round of DLCs.

The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight has encountered a lot of problems since its initial launch and it was even pulled from shelves to be corrected. Even the second release came under a lot of fire, and many users are still reporting poor performance.

In response to these grievances, the publisher of the game, Warner Bros. even offered refunds to anyone who bought the game on Steam. The people who still have the game have been getting quite a few patches, although none of them have been really important for the performance side of things.

What’s new with the latest patch for Batman: Arkham Knight

As most of you will probably notice, the latest update for Batman: Arkham Knight is mostly about the upcoming DLCs. In fact, only a couple of entries address some actual problems, the rest just lay the groundwork for other content.

To be fair, the number of people saying that the game runs fine now seems to be bigger than that of those saying it doesn’t, but it’s difficult to have a proper tally.

According to the changelog, support has been added for January DLC content, some issues with the benchmark map that would happen after installing the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion content have been fixed, a problem on some notebook PC hardware where the screen flickers on launch has been corrected, and some keyboard and mouse prompts functioning incorrectly after certain keys had been rebound are now working as they should.

Also, an issue on the in-game store where free DLCs were shown to have a value of “.0” has been fixed, rebinding keys no longer cause quickfire gadgets to work incorrectly with Batgirl, Red Hood or Harley Quinn.

As usual, opening Steam should trigger the download and users don’t have to do anything special to get the update.
