14 DAY TRIAL // Rocksteady and Warner Bros. confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight owners will receive next month two different DLC packs bringing extra skins for the main characters, not to mention a new Batmobile design and some tracks to race on.
Batman: Arkham Knight launched at the end of June and, since then, developer Rocksteady has been hard at work on different updates, primarily for the PC version that's suffering from major performance issues.
However, the studio has also helped release the Batgirl: A Matter of Family add-on for Arkham Knight on PS4 and Xbox One, although the actual development was handled by Warner Bros. Montreal.
Two more DLC packs are bringing fresh skins next month
Now, while celebrating the release of the fresh story-based DLC, Warner Bros. confirms in an official statement that two more DLC packs are scheduled to launch in August for Arkham Knight.
The first is the 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack. Like its name suggests, it brings a new Batman skin and a classic design for the Batmobile, inspired by the 1989 Batman film. Two tracks to race on, inspired by the film's sequel, are also included in the add-on.
The second DLC is the Bat-family Skins Pack, which brings six skins from alternate timelines. These include 1990s Catwoman, One Year Later Robin, Arkham Origins Batman, Iconic Grey & Black Batman, 1970s Batman and the Original Arkham Nightwing.
Just like with the Batgirl add-on, the two DLC packs are going to launch first for owners of the Season Pass for free, and then will appear as premium downloads for regular players of Batman: Arkham Knight.
Warner Bros. and Rocksteady are also planning many other fresh content for Arkham Knight, such as new story missions, more villains, and, of course, various skins for the characters and the Batmobile.
