GUST Studios and KOEI TECMO have just announced that Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy will land on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on December 3, at least in Japan. During Tokyo Games Show, the developers also confirmed that owners of the PlayStation 4 version of the game will receive a free upgrade to PlayStation 5 when they buy the new console.

The PlayStation 5 version of Atelier Ryza 2 will launch at the same time as the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions. Unfortunately, the game won't make it to PC (via Steam) until January 2021, GUST Studios revealed earlier today.

There's a catch though, if you plan to purchase the physical PlayStation 5 version of Atelier Ryza 2, you will only be able to pick up the standard edition. Publisher KOEI TECMO has already confirmed that the physical PlayStation 4 version of the game will be available in Premium Box and Special Collection Box editions, apart from the regular edition.

GUST Studios released a new trailer and some gameplay footage for Atelier Ryza 2 to go with the new information revealed today. In the same piece of news, KOEI TECMO announced that Japanese musical trio Clammbon will perform the Atelier Ryza 2's theme song.

Keep in mind that no matter what version of the game you decide to purchase, you'll be pleased to know that if you go for the Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy during the first two weeks of release, you will receive an Early Purchase Bonus code for the Summer Fashion Costume Set.

In addition, gamers who have save data from Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout will be able to unlock the Classic Costume Set, including outfits for Ryza and her friends from the previous title in the series.
