Good news for AT&T customers, as the carrier has just confirmed it will add the Samsung Gear S3 to its portfolio. This means that those interested will be able to purchase one starting this week.

According to AT&T, the Samsung Gear S3 will be available for pre-order beginning November 4 for just $49.99 with a 2-year agreement when purchased with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone on AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year.

In addition, customers will be able to pick the smartwatch up on AT&T Installment Plan for $17.50 per month for 20 months when they have eligible service.

Keep in mind, though, that AT&T will only sell the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, not the Classic version. However, both are already available for pre-order at Amazon, though you'll have to pay the full price ($382.66) if you want to get it from the US-based retailer.

AT&T also states that those who buy the Gear S3 will be able to benefit from a wide range of exclusive experiences such as NumberSync, which allows users to leave their phone and bring their number with them.

Moreover, another exclusive feature that should make Gear S3 users want to purchase it via AT&T is the ability to control their DIRECTV Receiver and Digital Life home even when they don't have their smartphones close. Apparently, the Gear S3 can replace a DIRECTV remote, so users can watch and record shows, change channels, and pause or rewind programming.

Spec-wise, the Gear S3 Frontier runs Tizen 2.3 operating system and packs 4GB of internal memory, as well as 768MB of RAM. It also sports a 1.3-inch scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ display and a decent 380 mAh battery.

The Gear S3 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and features built-in sensors that allow users to track and share their location, monitor their pace when running, as well as check their heart rate.
