A podcast documentary series about the game was unveiled too

We're more than a month away from Assassin's Creed Valhalla's launch, so it's no wonder that Ubisoft's marketing campaign intensifies. A new trailer showing the main protagonist's Viking saga has just been released today, along with news that a podcast documentary series that unveils the historical background of Assassin's Creed Valhalla will start today.

If you didn't know, in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you'll step into the shoes of Eivor, a fiercely-looking Viking raider who's torn between their duty to their brother Sigurd and a personal quest for glory.

You are driven away from Norway by endless wars and lack of resources, so for Eivor's clan to survive, a trip to the kingdoms of England is necessary. During their journey, Eivor will get to meet the Hidden Ones, and face powerful characters including Saxon kings and the warmongering sons of Ragnar Lothbrok, as well as a mysterious, growing threat that might end up determining England's destiny.

Make sure to watch the trailer for more information on Eivor's Viking saga, we're pretty sure that many of you who played the previous titles will recognize some of the characters that appear in the footage.

In other news, Ubisoft announced Echoes of Valhalla, a podcast documentary series that explains the historical background of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. According to Ubisoft, Vikings tell their very own story to give a new voice to the warriors who have traveled and shaped the world. Assassin's Creed Valhalla will release worldwide on November 10 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC (via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store), as well as uPlay+, Ubisoft's subscription service, and Google Stadia. The PlayStation 5 version of the game will be available on November 12.
