You'll still need a Uplay account to be able to play it

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is the last game released in the series before Ubisoft decided to overhaul the franchise and add RPG elements. It's also one of the most underrated Assassin's Creed games because of the number of titles fans have been exposed in a rather short time. Since the launch of Origins, those who didn't have the chance to play Syndicate aren't probably interested in going back to the old gameplay and storytelling.

But what if it didn't cost you anything? Would you be willing to play Assassin's Creed Syndicate? If the answer is yes, then we're happy to tell you that Epic will offer the game for free between February 21-28, along with another card game called Faeria.

There are a couple of things you should know though. First off, you need one account to be able to get the game for free, and another one to actually play it. Obviously, you must have an Epic Games Store account so that you can add Assassin's Creed Syndicate to your library, and then you'll need a uPlay account to be able to launch it.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set in the XIX century London and tells the story of Jacob and Evie Frye, twins who have grown up under Assassin tutelage in the countryside and are now coming to England's capital city.

It's important to note that Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Faeria will be replacing two other great games – Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez. If you didn't get these two, you still have time until tomorrow when the other two will take their place.

The folks at Epic announced that they will be offering two games for free weekly if one of the titles is rated matured. That way the company wants to make sure that a larger audience will benefit from its offer of free games.
