Gamers can customize their gang to back them up

The development team at Ubisoft working on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been talking a lot about the main characters of the game, Jacob and Evie, and now they are aiming to show how the presence of the Rooks as a gang will enhance the player experience.

They are designed to offer backup during close quarters fights, to deliver distractions when gamers need to slip away and to add firepower in a contested situation.

Gamers will be able to even get deliveries of ammo, money and other resources from the children of London with the Little Rooks upgrade.

Ubisoft explains in a new article that "Depending on how far you’ve upgraded your Leadership Skill ability, you’ll be able to command up to five Rooks at a time. If you’ve also been upgrading your Rook Training skill, you’ll be able to get them up to level 9, so they’ll be pretty hard to take down when you encounter enemies."

The gang members will be especially helpful during the new driving sequences of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate because they allow gamers to focus on handling their vehicle while the others take out enemies.

Ubisoft says that the gang members cannot complete solo missions and they are less agile than the main characters, which means that they might be unable to reach some more remote areas.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate features a range of Rooks-focused upgrades

There are three categories of enhancements that gamers can choose from: Insider focuses on intimidation and on getting access to more loot on the streets; Ringleader makes the Rooks more powerful and weakens the Templars and the Blighters; while Swindler brings the player more money and introduces discounts for items.

Gamers will be able to choose those improvements that suit their play style and boost the capabilities of Jacob and Evie.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate takes gamers to London and introduces a range of new mechanics, including fights with multiple opponents and a range of new vehicles.

Players can control both Jacob, who is more focused on brawling, and Evie, with an emphasis on stealth mechanics.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be launched on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on October 23 of this year and a PC version is set to be offered on November 19.
