If Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is not the best game in the series, it surely is one of the longest. If you're the completionist type of gamer, the base game should take you more than 100 hours to finish. Not to mention that you'll need at least another 50 hours to fully complete the expansions included in the Season Pass.

We're telling you this because you now have the chance to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for free on your platform of choice. Well, not right now, but in just a few days. Ubisoft has just announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the latest installment in the series, will have a Free Weekend from 19th March to 22nd March.

The game will be available for free on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players who want to try out Assassin’s Creed Odyssey can pre-load it on the PlayStation 4 and PC via uPlay starting today.

Keep in mind that during the Free Weekend you will have access to the full main game content, not the content included in the Season Pass. Additionally, when playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey during the Free Weekend, all players will unlock the Ezio’s Roman Set through Ubisoft Club.

Another important thing worth adding is that any progression made during the Free Weekend will carry over when you purchase the game, whenever that might be. Also, you'll need an online connection to start the game as a free player along with an Xbox Live Gold subscription if you plan to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on the Xbox One.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will take players to Ancient Greece during the Golden Age of Athens amidst one of the largest conflicts in history, the Peloponnesian War. Players will step into the shoes of either Alexios or Kassandra, Spartan mercenary outcasts, and embark on an epic journey into a living, systemic open world, where they will uncover the truth about their mysterious past and become legendary Greek heroes.
