Apple Watch owners are now receiving notifications about the "Ring in the New Year Challenge" achievement, which can be earned throughout the month of January 2018.

Just like last year, Apple is giving users the "Ring in the New Year Challenge" achievement in 2018 if they satisfy its requirements. It's a one-off, special challenge that must be earned within a particular time frame, during seven days in a row throughout the entire month of January 2018.

Apple wants its users to start the new year strong, and will award Apple Watch wearers with the "Ring in the New Year Challenge" achievement, which was first introduced in January 2017. So if you didn't catch the achievement this year because you didn't had an Apple Watch, you could earn it in 2018.

Here's how to earn the "Ring in the New Year Challenge" achievement

To earn the "Ring in the New Year Challenge" achievement on your Apple Watch, you'll have to close all three Activity rings (Move, Exercise, and Stand) every day for seven days in a row in the month of January 2018.

The good news is that you only have to close all three rings daily during seven days in a row, not a standard week, from Monday to Sunday, which sounds good to us. The achievement is available worldwide for all Apple Watch models.

We think this is a pretty easy to earn achievement for Apple Watch owners, especially if you have a low move goal set on your device. However, the other two rings cannot be changed and you'll have to exercise at least 30 minutes for seven days in a row, as well as to stand at least one minute during 12 different hours throughout a day.
