Apple’s typical spring product unveiling has been moved from March to April, with several new devices now expected to see the daylight as soon as the next month.

Apple watcher Jon Prosser, who has a good track on leaking information on unreleased Apple products, confirmed earlier today that the next event of the Cupertino-based tech giant would happen in April.

The company is yet to confirm this report, but additional information would be provided in the coming weeks when Apple officially announces the event.

Needless to say, the whole thing would happen online because of obvious reasons.

New Apple products to see the daylight

While the company has remained tight-lipped on the new products to go live in April, we expect new iPads to be announced at the show, including possibly a new iPad mini and an upgraded iPad Pro featuring a mini LED display.

Not a long time ago, people familiar with the matter suggested Apple could also unveil a new iPhone SE model in the spring of 2021, though right now, it looks like the company has delayed this unveiling, with the next affordable iPhone to go live in 2022.

The next-generation iPhone SE was originally expected to be based on the iPhone 11, though the latest information on this product indicates that Apple might still stick with the iPhone 8 approach for this upcoming model. In other words, iPhone SE would stick with a 4.7-inch display, possibly as Apple wants to avoid its smartphones from cannibalizing each other.

The April event, however, is likely to be focused on the iPad and possibly other accessories, so expect no news on the iPhone family of products. Expect more information, however, to make the headlines rather sooner than later.
