14 DAY TRIAL // Just a few moments ago, Apple seeded the fourth and probably the last Beta of the upcoming iOS 9.3.3, Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6, and tvOS 9.2.2 operating systems to developers enrolled in its Apple Developer Program, as well as public beta testers.
We were expecting to see the Beta 4 update of the iOS 9.3.3, Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan, and tvOS 9.2.2 yesterday, as usually, Apple seeds them on Tuesdays. Still, it seems like it took one more day to debut them, and by the looks of things, the watchOS 2.2.2 operating system has been ignored once again.
This release comes eight days after the third Beta build, and as usual, Apple hasn't shared any details about what bugs have been fixed or new features implemented. Most probably, the forthcoming iOS 9.3.3, Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6, tvOS 9.2.2, and watchOS 2.2.2 will be minor maintenance versions that address a handful of bugs.
Developers are now waiting for the Beta 2 of iOS 10 and macOS Sierra
iOS 9.3.3, Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan, watchOS 2.2.2, and tvOS 9.2.2 should also be the last in the series. We doubt that Apple will continue maintaining them, as the Cupertino company has already announced the future of its operating systems for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Macs, Apple TV, and Apple Watch devices during the WWDC 2016 event earlier this month.
A first Beta of the iOS 10, macOS Sierra 10.12, tvOS 10, and watchOS 3 has already been seeded to developers who have an active and paid a subscription to Apple's Developer Program, and it looks like they are now waiting to test-drive the second Beta release, which is expected to arrive soon. The final iOS 10, macOS Sierra, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10 releases will be available this fall for all supported devices.
