Apple is about to start the sales of the brand-new iPhone 14 Plus, which was announced by the company at its September event alongside the other 2022 iPhone models.

The iPhone 14 Plus is essentially a larger version of the standard iPhone 14, therefore coming with a larger battery and bigger screen.

People familiar with the matter previously said Apple wanted to sell the device as iPhone 14 Max, but in order to make a bigger difference between the standard version and its premium siblings, the company has decided to go for the Plus moniker.

Cheapest Plus to cost $899 in the United States

iPhone 14 Plus therefore comes with a 6.7-inch display, and it will be available in several colors, namely midnight, blue, starlight, purple, and (PRODUCT)RED in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities.

Pricing in the United States will start at $899, but at the same time, Apple is also offering the option of paying $37.45 a month for 24 months.

“iPhone 14 Plus, featuring a 6.7-inch display, an upgraded dual-camera system, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS via satellite, A15 Bionic, and the best battery life ever in an iPhone, arrives at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers starting Friday, October 7. Customers who pre-ordered iPhone 14 Plus online will also begin receiving deliveries Friday. In-store and online, visitors will be able to experience the full iPhone 14 lineup with help from Apple Specialists ready to offer personalized support and advice,” Apple reminded the world today.

In the meantime, it looks like the Pro models are the ones enjoying the biggest demand this year, so there’s a chance Apple doesn’t expect the Plus to be a major hit anyway. This could be a reason the company has released a reminder that the Plus is going on sale on Friday.
