Apple released today yet another bugfix update to its latest iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 mobile operating system to further address the background app issues reported by users, as well as other issues.

The iOS 13.2.3 and iPadOS 13.2.3 software updates are here just ten days after the release of iOS 13.2.2 and iPadOS 13.2.2, which allegedly fixed the infamous multitasking bug that killed apps running in the background more often than usual, to further improve support for background apps by addressing an issue that could prevent them from downloading content while running in the background.

Additionally, iOS 13.2.3 and iPadOS 13.2.3 fix an issue where system search and search within the Files, Mail, and Notes apps might not work correctly, addresses an issue where photos, links and other attachments where not displayed in the Messages details view, and also resolves a bug that may prevent the Mail app from fetching new messages, and fail to include and quote original message content in Exchange accounts.

Update your iPhone and iPad devices now

Of course, all iPhone and iPad users are urged to update their devices as soon as possible to the latest software update, in this case iOS 13.2.3 and iPadOS 13.2.3, if they want a more stable and secure iOS/iPadOS experience. To update, simply open the Settings app and go to General > Software Update.

There, you should be able to see the new software version (see image below), so just tap on the "Download and Install" button. Meanwhile, Apple is still working hard on the next major releases, iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3, which are currently in beta testing with a new beta version to be released this week.
