Apple released today the fourth beta of the upcoming iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1, and tvOS 12.3 software updates for testing through the company's Apple Developer portal.

The iOS 12.3 beta 4 (16F5148a), macOS Mojave 10.14.5 beta 4 (18F127a), tvOS 12.3 beta 4 (16M5146a), and watchOS 5.2.1 beta 4 (16U5110a) are here just one week after the third beta release, which means that Apple has moved to a weekly release cycle for its upcoming and highly anticipated software updated for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Watch devices.

Since the beta 3 release, Apple improved playback of copy-protected videos on the iMac Pro with the macOS Mojave 10.14.5 beta 4 release. As for iOS 12.3 beta 4, the company said that it's aware of a bug that doesn't let users update to iOS 12.3 beta 3 or newer versions if you're not running iOS 12.3 beta 2, a bug that will be fixed in the next beta release.

Public beta 4 of iOS 12.3, macOS 10.14.5, and tvOS 12.3 coming soon

As expected, Apple seeded the fourth beta of iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1, and tvOS 12.3 only to application developers with a paid and active Apple Developer account who want to test their apps against the upcoming software updates. The company usually releases a corresponding public beta version of iOS 12.3, macOS 10.14.5, and tvOS 12.3 in the next 24 hours.

If you don't have an Apple Developer account, we'll let you know the public beta 4 updates are available so you can install them on your devices. However, we don't encourage our readers to install beta software on their devices, which should only be installed on devices dedicated to beta software development. The final release of iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, tvOS 12.3, and watchOS 5.2.1 are expected to be released for everyone in mid-May.

Update: Apple also released the public beta 4 of iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, and tvOS 12.3, which public beta testers can now install via the Apple Beta Software Program.
