2021 is almost over, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that the big honchos at Apple can already go on holiday. Not at all, as the company is working on a super-busy 2022 schedule, with the next year to bring us lots of new products.

This is according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who says in the most recent Power On newsletter that 2022 is going to bring us not only the new iPhone 14 but also a series of other devices.

First and foremost, Apple is projected to take the wraps off a new iPad Pro model that would sport wireless charging. The iPad lineup will also be refreshed with a new entry-level iPad that will come with an affordable price tag but also with an upgraded iPad Air.

A new iMac will also see the daylight, obviously running on Apple Silicon, and most likely, it’ll come with upgraded specs as compared to the 24-inch version already on the market. The MacBook will get a really, really massive upgrade with a new M2 chip and a completely fresh design.

New versions of the Mac mini will also see the daylight in 2022, and so will a new MacBook Pro, possibly to be positioned as an entry-level device. The Mac Pro with Apple Silicon will be refreshed as well.

Apple is reportedly planning a new iPhone SE as well. Little is known right now if any massive design changes are planned, but Gurman says the device will almost certainly feature 5G, therefore becoming one of the cheapest premium smartphones on the market with such capabilities.

Apple’s first augmented and VR headset will also debut next alongside a lineup of new Apple Watch models that would include a refreshed SE model and a rugged version whose feature are still a mystery for now.
