Following on the reports of Swedish website MacPro last week, which claim that Apple Pay is coming soon to Sweden, it looks like Apple recently expanded its payment service to the north part of Europe.

Apple users in Finland, Sweden, and Denmark can now use Apple Pay to make payments where the payment service is supported by retailers, of course. Apple Pay can be used with either an iPhone or Apple Watch device running the latest software version, as well as with MacBook Pro with Touch Bar on supported websites.

If you're wondering which banks support Apple's payment service, we can tell you that it can currently be used with Nordea or St1 credit or debit cards in both Sweden and Finland, while Denmark users can only use their debit cards with either Nordea or Jyse banks.

Apple Pay now available in the United Arab Emirates

In addition to the northern Europe extension, it would appear that Apple finally made its Apple Pay payment service available to the U.A.E. (United Arab Emirates), supporting banks like Emirates Islamic (Visa only), Emirates NBD, RAKBANK (Mastercard only), Mashreq, HSBC, as well as Standard Chartered Bank.

According to Apple's Eddy Cue, Apple Pay is also coming soon to India, though no official date was announced at the moment of writing, and 9to5Mac website claims Polish bank PKO Bank is testing the Apple Pay payment service with its infrastructure, so it may soon be available in Poland as well.

To use Apple Pay, all you have to do is to open the Wallet app on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch device and add a new debit or credit card that supports Apple's payment service. MacBook Pro owners that have the model with the Touch Bar can also use Apple Pay via the Wallet & Apple Pay in System Preferences.
