Apple’s spring event kick off in just a few hours, and according to a new leak, one of the devices that could be announced at the show could be a new iPhone 13 in green.

It goes without saying the upcoming event won’t be about the iPhone 13 or the iPhone 14, as Apple typically holds dedicated venues for its flagship models in September.

The spring event is usually the right opportunity for Apple to announce other updates, and this year, we expect to see the new iPhone SE. But according to YouTube Luke Miani, who cites his own sources on this, the Cupertino-based tech giant is also expected to take the wraps off a new iPhone 13 color.

There will be no hardware upgrades on this model, so the green iPhone 13 will have the same specs as all the other siblings currently available on the market.

While Luke Miani has a mixed track on Apple scoops, a new iPhone color doesn’t seem impossible, especially as Apple used the previous spring event in 2021 to announce a purple iPhone 12. So at first glance, the Cupertino-based firm could be turning this into a tradition, with every spring event to bring a new color of its already-announced flagship iPhone.

The iPhone SE 2022

However, the iPhone that’ll get most of the love today will be the iPhone SE. The 2022 overhaul will be based on the same iPhone 8-inspired body, so it’ll continue to feature a home button with an integrated Touch ID.

Visually speaking, the new iPhone SE will look just like the current model, but the magic will happen under the hood where Apple will install a new Bionic chip, 5G support, and new cameras. The new iPhone SE should go on sale later this year in the largest markets across the world.
