iPhone 15 expected to launch in September 2023

Apple has only recently launched the new iPhone 14, but as it turns out, the Cupertino-based tech giant is already making the necessary preparations for the debut of the iPhone 15.

Needless to say, the iPhone 15 is projected to launch in September 2023, so we’re still very far from the moment this will happen.

However, Apple apparently wants to make sure everything goes according to the plan, so the company has started reaching out to its Apple Store staff to tell them no time off would be allowed between September 15, 2023 and October 7, 2023, and December 2, 2023 and the start of January 2024.

A report from MacRumors reveals that Apple is apparently sending memos to Apple Store staff, but on the other hand, store managers claim the new instructions are actually coming from the upper management.

Of course, Apple already telling employees that taking leave between the said dates is unusually given we’re nearly a year away from the moment the new instructions will actually come into play. Most often, the company sends such notice only a few days before, most often using the internal Apple communications app.

The 2023 iPhone lineup

Nevertheless, it looks like Apple is making big efforts to prepare for the debut of the iPhone 15.

The device is expected to come with USB-C as the first iPhone in history to ship without a Lightning port. The move comes after the European Union made USB-C mandatory on all devices sold on the Old Continent, with Apple to therefore give up on its proprietary port and go for this more widespread connector.

Apple is expected to release upgrades for all iPhone models currently in the lineup, though it’s believed that the Dynamic Island could be expanded to all devices, including the standard models. On the iPhone 14, only the Pro models come with Dynamic Island, whereas the standard versions use a notch.
