AnTuTu is one of the most popular benchmarking applications of mobile devices, at least on platforms like Android and iOS.

Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, the third largest mobile operating system, Windows Phone didn't get the benchmark until recently.

But the team behind the popular benchmark started to work on a Windows Phone application a little while ago and a third beta version of AnTuTu has just been released, WPMU reports.

The latest AnTuTu benchmark brings a newly designed 3D Testing Scene, but also adds fresh UX testing items and increases UX testing proportion.

Also, those who would like to try out the benchmark on their Windows Phone devices will be pleased to know that developers included a new CPU test, new score proportion and cross-platform comparison.

Yes, with the latest version of AnTuTu Benchmark, Lumia 950 XL owners will be able to compare benchmark results with Android high-end smartphones, or even iPhones.

For newest devices, AnTuTu 3DBench app is needed as well

Keep in mind that you will have to download a separate 3DBench application that is not included in AnTuTu. According to developers, they made this decision in order to avoid re-downloading the 3D part when they would push new updates.

The separate 3DBench application is needed to test 64-bit processor and UX performance, so those who own some of the newest high-end smartphones will have to download it along with AnTuTu Benchmark.

Since this is a work in progress, you might find bugs and issues, like the fact that the benchmark does not list correctly all hardware details for some Windows Phone handsets. These issues will be addressed in future updates.

You can now download AnTuTu Benchmark beta for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store. The application is only compatible with devices running Windows 10 Mobile and newer.
