14 DAY TRIAL // Josh Duggar did not have a good 2015: earlier this year, older police records were made public, revealing he had molested 5 minor girls when he was just a teen (4 of whom turned out to be his sisters), and then he got caught in the Ashley Madison Leak and exposed as a cheater.
Right now, Josh, the eldest son of the ex-TLC stars of 19 Kids and Counting, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, is in rehab for what he described as an addiction to adult material. His wife, and the mother of his 4 children, is staying with her parents, while, according to Hollywood Life, contemplating the possibility of divorce.
Anna wants out of the marriage
When the child molestation scandal broke, Anna stood by her husband, saying in a statement that he had informed her of his “mistakes” as a teen. She had forgiven him because God had already done it, she said.
While that may have been the case, she obviously had no idea that, just as he was posing as a family values activist, he was setting up accounts on Ashley Madison and hooking up with adult stars behind her back. Two women of this profession have already come forward with their stories, even urging Anna, whom they did not know, to leave him.
Even Anna’s brother Daniel Keller went public with his plea to her to divorce “that pig of a husband” (his exact words).
It seems that all this has found its way to Anna, because she’s actually considering divorce. For the time being, she is doing her best to cope with the situation, relying on her mother’s help and support.
She hasn’t taken any kind of action in this direction, but one insider tells the aforementioned e-zine that she’s “ready” for divorce. Previous reports said that she was determined to stand by her man and that the word “divorce” wasn’t even part of her vocabulary.
Josh is desperate, asking for forgiveness
Obviously, Josh knows that something has changed in Anna and the thought of losing her is terrifying. She’s made no effort recently to keep in touch with him in rehab, but he still hopes she will find it in her heart to forgive her.
“When Josh heard that Anna was contemplating divorce, he flipped out,” an inside source reveals. “He’s been begging her not to leave him. He says he’s determined to change, by the grace of God, and [he’s] working hard to get to that place.”
Josh is expected to remain in rehab for several more months.
