Ann Coulter gets into heated exchange with Raven Symone on The View, shuts her up instantly

It’s been a week since Raven Symone, co-host on ABC’s The View, said on the air that she was discriminatory when it comes to names and that she would not hire someone whose name was too “ghetto.” So if your name is Watermelondrea, you’re fresh out of luck.

Since the controversy, which blew up on Twitter, the former child star has issued an apology and tried to make it sound as if this was a case of saying things she didn’t mean. Ann Coulter, yet another controversial public figure, isn’t buying said apology and she’s clearly not ready to let go the whole Watermelondrea comment.

Coulter was on The View the other day to promote her new book, “Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole.” That title alone should offer you an indication of the things that were said during the discussion on immigration, including how immigrants are ruining America because the liberals allow them access.

As you can see in the video below, Raven Symone tried to get Coulter to understand that saying offensive things for the heck of it was an ugly habit to have, but Coulter was having none of it.

Her response actually managed to get Raven to shut up instantly.

“Well, I'm at least talking about policy. You have a position on what people's names should be. Watermelondrea... I mean, you'll insult people for their names,” she said. “I'm talking about a government policy that affects all Americans, and immigrants, and the people living here. And it's harming our country. So you don't follow it.”
