US-based company InFocus is already present on the Indian smartphone market with several products, which might or might not be as popular as the handset maker had expected.

The M812 and M370 seem to be among those smartphones that are popular among customers in India since InFocus has just confirmed that it will offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrades for both devices, a new report claims.

Both InFocus smartphones were launched in India last month for prices ranging between $90 and $310. There's quite a huge difference between the two devices, but they have one thing in common as they're both running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

According to a teaser image recently released by InFocus, the M812 and M370 smartphones will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates in December.

The teaser also mentions that the date of activation would be December 31, 2015, which means InFocus doesn't have a clear release date for Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for these devices yet.

An exact release date will be announced later on

However, we do expect both M812 and M370 smartphones to get a new version of InLife UI, InFocus' proprietary Android skin that's supposed to make its products stand out from other devices with the same operating system.

Aside from that, InFocus M812 and M370 owners should expect all the new features and improvements included in Android 6.0 Marshmallow such as Doze, App Links, Mobile Payments, the ability to change app permission settings and much more.

InFocus has a few other smartphones available in India, which could receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well since they are more than competent hardware-wise to run the new version of the OS.

Unfortunately, for the time being, these two smartphones are the only ones that InFocus plans to upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Stay tuned for more on this one.
