Frictional Games, the studio behind horror game classics such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent and SOMA, continues to tease its next project. It's the second time that the developer is teasing its next game after updating its website during the holiday.

This week the studio has started another wave of teasers that gives us a glimpse at what's to come. A new teaser trailer has been posted on Frictional Games' website, which is called “I am Tasi.” Spotted by a Resetera user, the trailer is just half a minute long and is shown through the eyes of Tasi.

Frictional Games had been teasing their new project quite a lot through a series of ARG (alternate reality game) clues and unlisted videos. However, this is the first time that we can actually see and hear something made in-game.

Judging by the stream of teasers that the studio is outing lately, we're probably very close to an official announcement. Unfortunately, with so many game events being canceled or postponed, it's unclear when exactly Frictional Games' next project will be revealed.

That being said, we expect even more teaser in the coming weeks, so if you're in love with the studio's works, you should definitely stay tuned for this one.

Frictional Games hasn't released a new game since 2015 when SOMA made it to PC and consoles. Still, we did get some news about what exactly the studio is up to back in 2017, when Frictional Games' creative director, Thomas Grip said his company is working on two projects. One of the games that Grip was referring to does not belong to the horror genre though, which is kind of surprising considering the studio's pedigree.

From what we've been able to see until now, the project that Frictional Games is teasing right now does seem to be the horror-type of game, not the other one.
