14 DAY TRIAL // Amber Rose became famous when she started walking the red carpet with rapper Kanye West, sometime in 2009. The two dated for 2 years, before she married Wiz Khalifa, whom she divorced in 2014.
Both men hurt her tremendously when they decided to trash-talk her in the media, she said this weekend at a rally in Los Angeles she put together. Amber is trying to make men understand that talking about former lovers in a manner that’s degrading to them is not ok, and she’s willing to get really personal to send this message across.

Amber took to the stage to recall how she was humiliated for allegedly being promiscuous when she was only 14 years old and still a virgin.
She also namedropped her 2 famous exes, Kanye and Wiz, saying each hurt her in ways she would have never imagined. For starters, Amber stressed, she never dated anyone for fame, only out of love.
So hearing Kanye say earlier this year that, before he got with current wife Kim Kardashian he had to take “like 30 showers or something” to wash off all traces of Amber, was painful.
But it paled by comparison with what Wiz did, her ex-husband and the father of her child: he wrote a song in which he called her “nothing but a stripper,” thus writing off their entire love story. “It hurt,” Amber admitted, adding that Wiz had been the “love of [her] life.”
This is when she broke down in tears and had to stop for a moment to pull herself together.
Don’t judge a book by its cover
Amber got her start as an exotic dancer and she moved up to video vixen back in her Kanye days. She’s also a glamor model, which means that most of her photos online are of the revealing kind.
On a day to day basis, Amber will wear very short and / or very tight outfits, and she will relentlessly promote herself on social media using only the most risqué photos she has.
However, the goal of the event she put together is to show that all this doesn’t mean that she’s a bad person or that she should be shamed for her choices. She’s taking issue particularly with the S-word often used in reference to women such as herself, saying that while men get to boast about their exploits, women will always be shamed for them - almost always publicly so.
