14 DAY TRIAL // Johnny Depp no longer has his own yacht, because new wife Amber Heard, whom he tied the knot with in February 2015, made him sell it, as it reminded her of his ex-partner Vanessa Paradis. Depp had bought it in 2007 for Vanessa and named if after them.
On the bright side, Johnny Depp is still the proud owner of his own island in the Bahamas.
Amber is still jealous of Vanessa
Us Weekly claims to have it on very good authority that Depp rid himself of the yacht after Amber caused a scene when they tried to board it. She told him that it had to go because it reminded her of his past with another woman, and he complied.
Depp had named the boat Vajoliroja, which stood for the first two letters in the name of all members of his family with Vanessa: Vanessa, Johnny, and children Lily Rose and Jack.
“Johnny loved that yacht. But he bought it for Vanessa,” a source tells the celebrity publication. “And Amber is still jealous of her.”
The report adds that, while Amber might still be resentful of Vanessa and, at the same time, eager to remove all traces of her from her own life with Johnny, she is a very good step mother to Johnny’s children. They get along wonderfully and are often spending time together, whether backstage at Depp’s concerts with The Hollywood Vampires, or on their own.
Vanessa isn’t exactly keen on Amber either
Johnny never married Vanessa, even though they were together for almost 14 years, had 2 children together and had bought a lot of properties as a couple. They were also one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, for what it’s worth.
They split in June 2012, and a few months later, he confirmed he has started a relationship with his “Rum Diary” co-star, Amber Heard. Rumors about said relationship had actually started making the rounds one year before, but since Johnny was still with Vanessa at the time, at least officially so, they denied it.
Still, the consensus online with celebrity bloggers is that he cheated on Vanessa with Amber, so this naturally prompted many rumors about how much the French star “hated” the woman who had “taken” her man.
It’s safe to say that, if there’s any substance to these rumors, Vanessa would have good reason to feel just strongly against Amber as Amber does against her.
