The phablet is expected to arrive in less than a month

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is one of the most anticipated flagships expected to arrive in the second half of the year, alongside the OnePlus 2 or the Xiaomi Mi5.

Unlike in previous years, Samsung has been rumored to be getting ready to launch the phablet ahead of schedule, on August 12. Apparently, the Korean tech giant is worried that Apple’s new iPhone models due out in September will overshadow its new Galaxy Note.

And these past few weeks we have seen countless depictions of the upcoming Galaxy Note 5, including a bunch of CAD draws, renders, and even a photograph featuring a purported testbed unit.

One thing the Galaxy Note 5 is famous for is its S Pen and Sammy is expected to improve the software related to it with the next phablet release. So if you have been wondering what the stylus will look like, the folks at Android Guys have managed to stumble upon a couple of images detailing the accessory.

The images show a pen that features a clickable top, which might indicate that the stylus will come with a retractable point. Which is a very interesting aspect.

Is this the S Pen the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will come with?

Remember that last month we told you that the Galaxy Note 5 might come with a new feature that would allow users to auto-eject the S Pen. Apparently, the accessory will feature a magnet and the Galaxy Note 5 will have another magnet nestled inside, which is why the stylus will be able to stay firmly inside the socket.

The auto-eject feat will employ magnet polarization in order to make the S Pen snap out of its socket. While this might seem like the perfect way to eject the S Pen from the Galaxy Note 5, it might be a little too soon for this system to be implemented into the upcoming phablet.

A voice-activated auto-eject tech would be nifty too, but that’s just wishful thinking at this point.

The Galaxy Note 5 is expected to make a debut with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with support for Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) and a homegrown all-in-one Exynos 7422 chipset that can accommodate a 64-bit octa-core processor plus 4GB of RAM.
