After releasing the successful Honor 8 smartphone earlier this month, Huawei is now working on an upcoming device with a massive display of 6.6 inches and other neat specs. The handset has recently passed through TENAA and is now the subject of official teasers that reveal its launch date.

Huawei's next device in the Honor series has recently been spotted on TENNA, the Chinese telecommunication authority agency, according to Android Pure. The device features the model number EDI-AL10, is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core CPU and comes with a 6.6-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.

The phone also guarantees 4GB of RAM and as well as 64GB of internal memory, with the option to expand to 128GB using a microSD card. It should draw power from a 4,400mAh battery, more than enough for browsing the Internet and performing all sorts of operations.

Huawei's Honor Note 8 will come with Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box

The device is believed to be called Honor Note 8 due to its massive display, with the phone measuring 178.8×90.9×7.18mm and weighing 219 grams. At the same time, you can also count on a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.

The phablet would run Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box and come with a fingerprint sensor on the back. It's also expected to support 4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. It's also important to note that the Honor Note 8 is also said to sport a full metal body.

Huawei has recently released two teasers for the upcoming Honor Note 8, in order to promote the device's massive display and quite decent specs. The second teaser seems to mock Xiaomi's Mi Max, which was revealed in May.

The phablet came with a 6.44-inch display and a large battery of 4,850mAh. It also packed a Snapdragon 652, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Honor Note 8 is rumored to be unveiling in August this year, and it will certainly compete against Xiaomi's Mi Max in certain markets.
