14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 is one of the biggest releases that Samsung scheduled for the second half of the year. Considering the approaching release date, speculation continues to arise on every piece of information that surfaces. The latest shows that Samsung might, in fact, launch two variants of the Note 7.
Info has surfaced on Samsung’s website, showing that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer might actually debut two variants of the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung hasn’t revealed any details on the device itself but has rather leaked the model number SM-N930F, which has a UA Profile page.
Sadly, the page contains no information on the upcoming device. However, the mere existence of the page and the model number indicates that Samsung is working on a new handset.
Samsung might be launching two variants of the Note 7
The Galaxy Note 5 carried the model number SM-N920, the Note 4 was SM-N910, which would only mean that the Note 7 would receive the code number SM-N930F. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 7 Edge might come with the model number SM-G935, which would actually mean that Samsung is preparing to launch a flat Note 7 variant to go with the Edge one.
Surely, this is all speculation at this point, but we do know that Samsung has settled on the 7 moniker, in order to bring the Note lineup up to date with the Galaxy S series and signal consumers that the Note 7 is the latest device in its category.
In addition, the latest hearsay indicates that Samsung will start mass production of the Galaxy Note 7 Edge in July and intends to produce 5 million units until the launch on August 2.
Moreover, Patron company will reportedly provide the iris scanner on the Galaxy Note 7 Edge, which would make the device quite impressive, since it would be the first Note smartphone to come with such a feature.
