Alien: Isolation, the survival horror developed by Creative Assembly and based on the Alien science fiction horror film series, made its debut on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One back in 2014. Well, it looks like publisher SEGA wants the game to be available on all possible platforms, so the next to get it is the Nintendo Switch.

Feral Interactive, the studio in charge of the Nintendo Switch port, has just announced that Alien: Isolation is coming to this specific platform on December 5. The port will feature support for gyroscopic aiming and HD rumble to immerse players in the terrifying world wherever they play.

Even better, Alien: Isolation on Switch will include all DLC ever released for the game, which means seven downloadable content packs will be available for free. Well, not for free, but included with the base game that is now up for pre-order for £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99.

Fans of the Alien sci-fi film series might want to know that the story in the game is set 15 years after the events of the first movie directed by Ridley Scott in 1979. Players take on the role of Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda, who seeks to discover the truth behind her mother's disappearance.

You'll find yourself stranded on the remote space station Sevastopol along with a few desperate survivors, and you'll have to stay out of sight and use your skills to survive as you're stalked by an invincible Alien.

Alien: Isolation focuses on stealth and survival horror game elements rather than shooting. Most of the game, players will have to avoid and outsmart the single Alien creature roaming the space station, using various tools such as a motion tracker and flamethrower.

A new trailer for the Switch version of Alien: Isolation has been released today, so check it out and decide for yourself whether or not it's worth your time.
