Alcatel OneTouch is one of the companies that decided to launch a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone this year. The OneTouch Fierce XL has been confirmed earlier this year, and it's even been showcased at CES 2016 trade fair.

Although the Chinese company announced the smartphone would be available in the United States via T-Mobile, the carrier hasn't yet opened pre-orders for the OneTouch Fierce XL.

The good news is the smartphone has been listed on T-Mobile's website, so it shouldn't take too long for the Magenta carrier to start taking orders for the OneTouch Fierce XL.

Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is a mid-range smartphone that comes preloaded with Windows 10 Mobile operating system, even though T-Mobile lists the smartphone with Android 5.1 Lollipop (must be a mistake).

Aside from the fact that this is a mid-range handset, it's also a phablet since it sports a large 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features Asahi Dragontrail Glass coating.

VoLTE and HD Voice support included

T-Mobile also confirmed the OneTouch Fierce XL packs 16GB of internal memory, but only 10GB user available memory. On top of that, the phablet includes microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL comes equipped with a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The mid-range smartphone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, whereas in the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Alcatel's handset supports VoLTE and HD Voice. It comes with a non-removable 2,500 mAh battery, which is rated by the carrier for up to 14 hours of talk time or up to 15 days of standby time.

Naturally, LTE support is included as well, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support.
